Will the ticket office be letting us know how many tickets are left for general sale this evening? I am travelling up from Cornwall today to join the queue for any tickets that may go on general sale tomorrow but hope it's not a wasted journey. I have tried every other option apart from buying an inflated priced ticket from ticketmaster to get one for my son and I. I just wish that those people buying multiple tickets and selling them on think about true fans who for no reason other than having had to move from Brum can't get to games regular enough to have stubs.
Also if anyone is travelling to wembley from Cornwall pls let me know we are willing to share costs and may be driving myself if we get tickets.

Im sorry but you can't moan about not getting a ticket when you havnt been to any of the previous games this season, regardless of the fact you have moved away.

I suggest you re-read his post because he didn't moan about not getting a ticket but instead asked if their was any news on the release of tickets for general sale. The only gripe was at people buying tickets just to sell on for a profit, something that should be banned IMO, regardless of event.

Why do some Blues supporters seem to have such a carp attitude with other Blues supporters for no reason? Does my head in... :banghead:

Her has a question. He wasn't moaning. He's the type of fan that would find it hard to get to game and I feel sorry for fans like him. KRO!!!!!

I'm officially screwed in terms of Cup Final tickets too.

I've been to 3 out of the 5 Carling Cup ties, but by using my shared season ticket with my mum. Over the last 9 years, between us we haven't missed a single home game, as she goes to matches when I'm in Cardiff, which over the last three years has been around 50% of the time.

In spite of both being in attendance for so many Blues games and being such big and active Bluenoses, this entitles us to just one ticket between us. Yet at the same time, some thug who turns up once for the jolly against the Villa can easily get a ticket today.

How on earth have nearly all of our 35,000 allocation gone, seeing as the maximum possible number of tickets available to folk up to now should have been 27,679...the attendance of the Aston Villa match?

Now I'm looking into whether I can get in contact with any lucky people who may have Club Wembley seats that they're willing to sell on, otherwise it'll be rock, paper, scissors between myself and my mum.

There is no chace to buy tickets on line or by phone. Just beeing on hold for 25 minutes. I've been on 2 Carling cup games this season but i am not living in Brum so i cannot buy tickets on the stadium. As someone mentioned above - where are those fans when we are playing with other teams ?

I thought the same - re ticket allocation - but then realised how / why they're nearly all gone. Firstly I understand we had 31,000, not 35,000, then I guess the same people who went to the Villa game might not have been the dames ones who went to the West Ham game. So although we only sold 27,000 + at each game the people with ticket stubs could reach over 30k.

Then there's the ones who have got more tickets than they should - you know it's bound to have happened even with the best will in the world of the club. Finally I guess people inside Blues and corporates will have their share too.

Unfortunately it leaves many loyal supporters without a ticket, which seems a little unfair.

No idea why Wembley, which holds 90,000, can't just make more tickets available to supporters of each club instead of keeping sponsors and corporates happy!

re. the sale of the tickets, its fairly easy to work out how they have sold.

blues had an allocation of 31,500 and those are for fans. Of those, 14,500 are for season ticket holders.

Bearing in mind that the Wet Ham & V***a games were sold out then that leaves 30,000 one & 2 stub fans competing for the remaining 17,000 wembley tickets.

Also, the club, players, staff, board e.t.c have not had any of the 31,500 tickets so to say they did is incorrect & just not nice!!!

Its unfortuante but the tickets were never gonna go to general sale

re. Wembley as a stadium, because the construction was so overbudget, the FA now have to make the money back which means the missing 20,000 are corporate / club wembley seats because the revenue is needed from these 20,000 .

Finally, it could be worse, Arsenal had the same allocation of 31,500 and they have over 50,000 season ticket holders. imagine paying your £1500 for a season ticket but not being guaranteed a ticket for ANY final!!!

never wAS going to get to general sale just glad ive got mine...if people were season ticket holders or had more than 2 stubs you would have one so suggest the majority who got tickets are the one who deserved to

31500 tickets, 14500 st holders, if they had every ones bank details, and gave two tickets to each st holder =29000 sent them out. no queing! then it would be up to the st holder who he goes with. thats why you have a season ticket. now all the none st holders can shoot me down.

Probably the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard.

I was a season ticket holder until last year, and I am going to Wembley, before you ask.

Thanks for a post that makes sense and doesn't knock the fact that I don't live in Brum anymore, it doesn't mean I am not a bluenose anymore. My son and I have been to games this season but not C Cup games. I have been a blue nose all my life and went to home and away games when I lived there, before any of you think I don't deserve a ticket just think how we feel being so far away from our beloved team. We will be going to wembley with or without a ticket and I will go to Brum tonight just to see if I can get a ticket, how many of you moaners would go so far!!
